Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager / Executive

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Hours: 37.5 per week (office opening hours 8.00am – 18.00pm)

As a Digital Marketing Manager/Executive, you will be creatively driven and passionate about delivering on brand, clear and engaging marketing campaigns. Working with the Head of Marketing to ensure that the organisation has a current and far-reaching social media presence, involved from initial idea creation, through the full life-cycle of delivering on time, within budget, reviewing the outcomes and suggesting appropriate changes to improve where necessary.

Key Tasks:

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with customers
  • Propose and create annual digital calendar aligned to wider marketing strategy to optimise our online presence
  • Monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram) including creating engaging content and responding to posts, ensuring proofreading all content
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective. Sourcing the optimum advertising opportunities
  • Launch optimised online adverts through LinkedIn and Google Adwords to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation
  • Effectively manage email marketing campaigns to generate leads. Write and edit copy, build emails in MailChimp and organise their distribution
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website with content including production of relevant pages, guides, blogs and case studies
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools and prepare reports for Head of Marketing at the agreed frequency
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain relationships with key external partners to maximise marketing opportunities
  • Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
  • Maintain and update internal customer databases
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups

Experience:

  • Highly experienced in creative content marketing with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write appropriately for the various audiences, across the range of channels
  • Digital marketing experience – including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, WordPress and MailChimp
  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Manager / Executive or similar role (min. 3 years)
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices with evidence of previous successful social media campaigns
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, internal or external communication, preferably within the telecoms industry
  • Proficient in using Adobe creative software (PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator).
  • Experience using editing software for video creation would be beneficial.
  • Exceptional user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 Years Digital Marketing experience in a Business essential
  • University degree(s) in Marketing or related field and/or
  • CIM in digital marketing or equivalent digital marketing qualification
  • Full driving licence
